FERRER 6-3 3-2 - BREAK! - Del Potro's errors start to creep up in a marathon 10-minute game, allowing Ferrer to claim his third break point from deuce six for the first breakthrough of the set. The Spaniard's workrate was just too much for the complacent Argentine there.
FERRER 6-3 2-2 - Ferrer displays a good variety from service to hold again and keep the status quo here in the second set for now.
FERRER 6-3 1-2 - A squeaky-clean and ruthlessly-fast hold to love from Del Potro as the pace of the second set so far is much improved from the first.
FERRER 6-3 1-1 - The Argentine actually looks more spritely now than he did before catching his knee, so good news regarding his health. It does little help his chances of breaking the Spaniard here, as Ferrer holds comfortably to 15.
FERRER 6-3 0-1 - Del Potro recovers from a mid-game wobble to hammer his way to a hold to 30 against Ferrer.
FERRER 6-3 - SET! And Ferrer holds after Del Potro had done the same to get over the line in the opening set. He and Murray could be on collision course in the last eight.
FERRER 5-2 - Ferrer holds for a plum position in the opening set himself on Centre Court, but the story is Del Potro tweaking his knee during that game. He receives some mild treatment before we resume, but he's had problems with the leg before.

FERRER 3-1 - BREAK! - A point-blank reflex backhand brings Del Potro back level at 30-30 but it's not enough to prevent a sloppy break point immediately after in a service game nothing like his first spotless hold. And Ferrer's delicate drop lures the Argentine in to be caught out for the first break of the contest.
FERRER 2-1 - Another sweet precision forehand from Ferrer opens up game three, but further inconsistency in service draws the two at 30-30 before Del Potro's backhand drop fails and the Spaniard lights him up with another forehand winner to hold again. Ferrer finally holds on deuce six, his fourth straight, to take the opening gam
