Visitors Cagliari have virtually a full squad to select from, with the Rossoblu also in a poor run of form at the moment, and may see the opportunity to take on a wounded Rossoneri as a chance to kick-start their campaign with a victory.
Allegri: "At the moment I think it's just Juventus who are doing really impressive things as it was logical to expect. The other teams are not going at 120 kilometres an hour and there's time to get back the positions that we've lost now. I was and I am calm."
Coach Massimiliano Allegri, who led Milan to the 2011 title, was slapped with a match ban for insulting the referee following his side’s 2-1 defeat to Udinese on Sunday and will also have to battle suspensions to Cristian Zapata and Kevin Prince-Boateng, both of whom were sent off in the weekend defeat to Udinese. Mathieu Flamini is also likely to miss out, this time due to injury, while long-term concerns Alexandre Pato and Didac Vila are far from fitness.
Neither AC Milan nor Internazionale have recorded a win at the previously impregnable San Siro this season in eight attempts between them and AC have taken only three points from four Serie A games.
