That's a huge win for Everton, who move back into the top half with three points. It wasn't a great performance from the home side, Bournemouth pushed them hard, but they got the job done and that will enough to ease some of the pressure that had been mounting on Silva in recent weeks.

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Everton 2-0 Bournemouth
- GoalDominic Calvert-LewinEverton
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Everton 12 (95 mins - Dominic Calvert-Lewin) Bournemouth 0. It's the last kick of the game and Everton have put the bow on the win! Lookman cuts the ball back to Calvert-Lewin, whose side-footed shot finds the back of the Bournemouth net via a slight deflection. That will be that.
Begovic asks the Bournemouth bench if he can go up for a corner kick, but the answer is 'no.' Just as well as a clearance would have put Calvert-Lewin through on goal!
- OffGylfi SigurdssonEverton
- OnYerry MinaEverton
One final change for the home side and it's a defensive one. Mina comes on for the dying moments.
Massive challenge! Gosling burst through the Everton defence and was through on goal. But Keane made the challenge to stop his first shot, then Pickford blocked him the second time.
Chance for Mousset! Oh that was close to being the moment for Bournemouth. The cross from Ibe was a good one, but the clearance is made before Mousset could control it.
Five minutes of stoppage time will be played at the end of the match.
Is there one last chance left in this match for Bournemouth? They had a chance from a freekick there, but they couldn't make the most of it. The Cherries are piling bodies forward. The rain is POURING!
- OnDominic Calvert-LewinEverton
This is an interesting change. Calvert-Lewin comes on for the final few minutes. A striker. Silva clearly believes his team might need a second goal.
- Yellow cardRicharlisonEverton
Cook and Richarlison have been in a duel with one another in this second half. The latter gets a yellow card putting an arm into the face of the former.
- OffDavid BrooksBournemouth
- OnJordon IbeBournemouth
Bournemouth make another change with the youngster Brooks coming off for Ibe.
Richarlison lashes wide! The Brazilian is finally starting to have an impact on his game. He was presented with a shooting chance, but the angle was tight and he lashes over the bar.
Can Bournemouth rally back in these final 10 minutes or so (including stoppage time) to find an equaliser? They'll feel, given the balance of play, that they don't deserve to lose.
This could be a huge result for Everton if they can hold on. The Toffees have gone four league games at home without a win and have lost four of their last five. They need this victory.
- OnTheo WalcottEverton
Everton make their first change of the match and Walcott comes on to replace Bernard.
Richarlison... wide! That would have been a great goal. Sigurdsson found the Brazilian, who had to stoop to get his head on the cross. But his glancing header flashes just wide of the post.
King is down! This will be a concern for Howe. The Bournemouth striker is receiving some treatment for what looks to be a thigh strain. Keep in mind Wilson is already out through injury.
Silva might need to have a word with Gomes, or maybe even get him off the pitch before he gets sent off. The on loan Barcelona midfielder is throwing his weight around when already on a booking.
Gomes gets lucky! Yikes. The Portuguese midfielder is already on a yellow card. He went flying into a tackle on Cook and got nowhere near the ball. Lucky to get away with that.
The home fans are urging their team on. They're concerned with how Everton are sitting deep and inviting pressure on top of themselves after scoring that opening goal.
Since the start of last season, Bournemouth have won more points from losing poisitons than any other team in the Premier League, with the exception of Arsenal. Can they turn this around?
- OffJunior StanislasBournemouth
- OnLys MoussetBournemouth
Stanislas is one of the Bournemouth players who has dropped out of this game in the second half. He is replaced.
- Yellow cardKurt ZoumaEverton
And Zouma also joins Gomes in the book. Everton have a few players on yellow cards now.
- Yellow cardAndré GomesEverton
Gomes now enters the book for his role in a scuffle with Lerma. Not the first time they've been at each other.
Everton lost a goal to Leicester City through a mistake by Keane not so long ago, The centre back needs to keep his focus. A slip at this stage of the match could be disastrous.
- Yellow cardMichael KeaneEverton
Keane is shown a yellow card for clattering into an Everton player as he tried to make up for his mistake moments ago.
Into the side netting! That was a chance for Bournemouth. Keane makes a mistake, allowing King to race through on goal. He had options up there with him, but shoots into the side netting.
It must be said that the defending from Bournemouth for the goal wasn't great. Did Begovic really need to come off his line in an effort to make the punch before Zouma got there?
Everton finally have the lead. This hasn't been the greatest performance from them, but what a big goal that could be in their season. The Toffeess now have something to protect.
- GoalKurt ZoumaEverton
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Everton 1 (61 mins - Kurt Zouma) Bournemouth 0. The breakthrough! And it has gone the way of Everton! Digne's cross into the area was a beauty and Zouma got above his marker, and ahead of Begovic, to power a header into the back of the Bournemouth net! The Toffees have the lead.
Everton are peppering the Bournemouth penalty area with cross after across, but the Cherries are doing a god job of repelling them. But it feels like there might be a breakthrough coming.
Bournemouth need more from Brooks and Fraser. They were the two players who were doing the most damage to Everton in the first half, but in truth they have dropped out of the game.
This has become more of an even contest in the second half. Bournemouth have enjoyed periods of pressure, so too have Everton, but nobody has a grip of things right now.
Offside! For a moment, it looked like Richarlison was through on goal after taking a good touch from a Digne long ball. But the flag was up for offside and replays show it was the correct call.
Wasteful! Sigurdsson stood over the freekick 30 yards out, he tried to find Zouma with a clipped pass. That was cleared by Ake and then Bernard fired his volley high and wide.
That's clumsy play from Lerma. He thunders into Bernard when the Brazilian winger had already got away from him. Easy to see why he is the Premier League's most booked player this season.
Bournemouth look to have weathered the storm at the start of the second half and are now back in the game. The dynamic of this match has changed many times over.
Roof of the net! Just for a moment it looked like Cook's glancing header from a corner kick woul loop over Pickford and into the far corner of the net, but it lands on the roof of the net.
This has certainly been a start to the half from Everton than was the case in the first half. The Toffees look energised by the break and they are pressing for the opening goal.
Off the line! How did that stay out? Richarlison was free at the back post, his first header was blocked, but then his second effort is blocked on the Bournemouth line by Ake! Wow!
We haven't really seen much of Richarlison this afternoon. Everton need to get the Brazilian involved in this second half. He is probably their most dangerous final third threat.
Some stats from the first half. Everton must improve.
Early shooting chance! Everton are on the front foot at the start of the second half, with Bernard playing the pass back to Gomes on the edge of the box. But he shoots well over the bar.
- 2nd Half
The second half is under way! It's still 0-0 between Everton and Bournemouth in this Premier League fixture.

- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Everton 0-0 Bournemouth. Not a great first half for the home side, but Everton have improved and looked quite threatening towards the end of the opening 45 minutes.
Sigurdsson and Digne stood over the freekick 20 yards out. It was the latter who struck it, but the French full back could only put his effort straight into the Bournemouth wall.
- Yellow cardBernardEverton
It should be noted that Bernard was shown a yellow a few minutes ago for persistent fouling.
Grazes the bar! Keane gets up highest to get on the end of a Digne cross into the box, but his header clips the top of the crossbar. Everton are certainly getting closer in the last 10 minutes or so.
Lookman is dragging Everton forward towards the end of this first half. The whistle is going to come at the wrong time for the home side. They are starting to look quite dangerous.
Across the face! Great ball from Lookman. He got it out of his feet quickly and fizzed the pass across the six yard box, but there were no takers in the middle. Nobody in blue gambling.
That was an opportunity for Everton to get bodies up from the back for a corner kick, but the delivery from Sigurdsson was poor and Lerma could clear as the first man at the near post.
All of a sudden Everton seem to have some wind in their sails. However, their play is still very disjointed and there is no real flow to their attacking moves. At times, it has been scrappy.
Better from Everton! The Toffees come flying forward on the counter through Richarlison, with Bernard ultimately playing a cross to the back post. Clyne scrambles the clearance away under pressure from Lookman.
Howe will be pleased with what he has seen in this first half from his team, but he might also be concerned that they haven't made the most of their dominance. Will they rue that?
Difficult header! Maybe for the first time in the match, Everton open up, with Lookman getting a cross into the box from the left. But it was behind Bernard and his diving header goes wide.
This is a realy worrying spell for Everton. They have been second best in this first half and it only seems a matter of time until Bournemouth open the scoring. Well on top.
Pickford gets away with one! The Everton goalkeeper's clearance goes straight to a Bournmouth player, with Fraser crossing for King. The striker puts his header over the bar, though.
Everton need someone to take a grip of this game for them, because at the moment they are chasing the ball. Bournemouth have a grip of things in the centre of the pitch.
Good effort, good save! Stanislas goes around the Everton wall with his freekick effort from the edge of the box, but Pickford was equal to it and pushes the ball away for a corner.
Smith receiving treatment! The Bournemouth number 15 was felled on the edge of the opposition penalty area. The Cherries will have a freekick, but Smith is down for the moment.
Brooks has been very lively for Bournemouth in these early stages of the match. This has been the youngster's breakthrough season and has become a key figure for the Cherries.
Everton look pretty shaky playing out from the back today and that is causing them problems, especially because Bournemouth are pressing high on them whenever they have the ball.
Calls for a foul! The home fans are furious! They believe that Ake climbed over the top of Richarlison as the two players competed for a header. The referee isn't interested, though.
Everton just haven't found their passing flow yet. Their passes are all over the place and that is disrupting their ability to cut through this Bournemouth team. Poor stuff from the hosts so far.
Gomes shows some frustration after an attacking move break downs. The Portuguese midfielder, on loan from Barca, ended up in a little bit of a scrap with both King and Gosling.
Bernard has struggled in these early minutes. The Brazilian winger has been poor defensively, allowing Clyne all kinds of space, and has committed a few fouls. A yellow is coming.
That should have been the opener for the Cherries. The ball just appeared to get stuck under the feet of Brooks as he prepared to take the shot. Everton got away with one there.
Off the post! Inches away from being an opener for Bournemouth. Stanislas slotted in Brooks, who was in on goal. The angle was getting tigher and his low shot comes back off the base of the post.
The home supporters are starting to let their frustration known. This hasn't been a good start by Everton. There's no doubt that, as things stand, Bournemouth are the team on top.
Shot from distance! Lerma controls a ball 25 yards out, he sets himself for the shot, but his effort flashes wide of the post without ever really troubling Pickford in the Everton goal.
Was that a penalty? Brooks goes down inside the area under the challenge of Gueye, but the referee, who was in a good position to see the incident, shakes his head and waves play on.
Just get the feeling that Bournemouth are starting to control things here. They are starting to cause Everton problems, especially down the right side of the Goodison Park pitch.
Clyne is already giving Bournemouth an outlet down the right side. His cross is what found Fraser at the back post for that last goalscoring opportunity. He's made a good start.
What a chance! Fraser controls a ball at the back post, he has so much space, he squares a pass for King, but he couldn't get it under control and Pickford gathers in the end.
Southgate is at Goodison Park to watch this game today. The England manager has been linked with the Manchester United job in the papers today. Interesting development.
How will the absence of Wilson, who is out with a hamstring injury, affect Bournemouth? They still have King to lead the line, but most of his goals this season have come from the penalty spot.
Coleman is back in the Everton team for this game. The Republic of Ireland international had lost his place at right back to Kenny in recent games, but he's back in the starting lineup.
Freekick opportunity! Everton are presented with the chance to get a cross into the box, Sigurdsson's delivery is a decent one, but it hits the back of Lookman and dribbles through to Begovic.
Fraser was actually an injury doubt for Bournemouth coming in this game. The Scot has been in excellent form for the Cherries this season. With Wilson missing, he's their top scorer.
Bright start! It's Bournemouth on the front foot in the opening couple minutes. Fraser dribbled down the left side and squared for King, but he scuffed his shot under pressure.
Here's a statistic for you - 43 goals have been scored in the past 11 meetings between Everton and Bournemouth. As I was saying, these two teams have produced some great games.
- 1st Half
The match is under way! It's Everton against Bournemouth in this Premier League fixture.
Okay, here we go. About to get started at Goodison Park. Kick off is just seconds away.
These two teams have produced some entertaining games in the past. Hopefully we'll get another one of those today.
The two teams are in the tunnel at Goodison Park. It's cosy in there. Players are basically on top of each other.
Not long until kick off at Goodison Park. What sort of game are we expecting? Both teams have struggled defensively of late, so will this be an open affair? Let's see.
This game feels like a real litmus test of where Everton are under Silva at the moment. The pressure is on the Toffees. They can still achieve a good league finish, but they need results now.
I'm Graham Ruthven and you can catch me on Twitter ahead of the game to let me know your thoughts. What sort of performance will we see from Everton today? How big a loss will Wilson be for Bournemouth? Tweet me!
Poor form! Everton need a win today. They have lost four of their last five games in the Premier League. Some questions have been asked of Silva recently. He needs a rebuttal.
Wilson out! As Howe has confirmed in the pre-match interview, Wilson is missing for Bournemouth this afternoon. That will be a big blow for the Cherries. He's their main man.
