14:23

That's all from us today. Thanks for joining us. You can head over to our coverage of Newcastle v Huddersfield now, if you're in the market for more Premier League action.

90+4'

And indeed it was. That's it the whistle blows and it's 2-1 to Burnley. A terrible result for Spurs who might well rule themselves out of the title race.

92+4'

I spoke too soon, it's Lamela who will have the last opportunity for Spurs today (probably). He has an oportunity but his header meets the arms of Tom Heaton.

90'

Eriksen takes what might be Spurs' last chance of the match and hooves the ball a mile over the bar. Four minutes of added time to play.

89'

It's getting a bit heated as Spurs look like they think the home side are time wasting.

88'

Lucas Moura comes on for Son.

88'

Well, this match has taken a decidely Spurs-y turn, and Burnley are on it, now. They look like they want a third.

85'

That might end up being a very decisive moment in Spurs' season.

84'
84'

GOAL! Spurs make themselves vulnerable and Burnley capitalise as Barnes taps the ball in at the far post.

83'

Burnley take a free kick from the centre of the pitch, which ends in a corner. It rebounds pretty quickly to give them a second opportunity, whipped into the box but Robbie Brady eventually gives Spurs teh opportunity to clear it as he puts a bit too much on the ball. Goal kick for Spurs.

78'

Two changes for Burnley. Robbie Brady comes on for McNeil meanwhile Johan Gudmundsson replaces Hendrick.

77'

Both sides have had chances with McNeil taking a shot for Burnley and Llorente for Spurs, neither manage to make anything from them.

76'

A substitution now as Erik Lamela swaps in and Spurs switch to a back four. Lamela replaces Foyth.

76'

Spurs pile on the pressure but Aurier's passing has been just a bit off today, meanwhile Tarkowski is having a great defensive game.

75'

Great block by Alderweireld, but it's another corner for Burnley.

72'

Now Bardesley is booked for a foul on Rose.

71'

It's taken by Westwood and meets immediately with the Tottenham wall. But Hendrick has another chance here, a great chance but it's wide of the far post.

70'

Foyth is booked now for a terrible sliding tackle on Wood. A free kick now for Burnley in a very dangerous position on the edge of the area.

66'

Some controversy now regarding a throw-in by Danny Rose. Rose stands accused of making up rather a bit of ground there, and we can't deny it does seem to be the case.

We are 1-1 now.

65'
65'

GOAL! Harry Kane brings the visitors back in the game!

65'

And Llorente picks up a yellow card just four minutes after joining the game.

64'

It's Spurs with the corner now, hoping to level. The ball is played back to Rose who sits on the edge of the box and Mee blocks it. Another corner, more direct but not met by Eriksen's teammates, unfortunately.

61'

A substitution for Spurs as Llorente comes on to replace Winks.

60
59'

The issue here, by the way, is whether the ball came off Vertonghen or Hendrick, and the smart money would be on the latter.

57'

Slightly controversial since there is some doubt over whether or not that should have been a corner in the first place...

57'

GOAL! And that corner works out very well for them as Chris Wood heads the ball to find the net.

56'

There's a moment of pressure on Spurs now by Burnley, and they wind up with a corner. First opportunity they've had in this second half.

52'
52'

That moment very nearly came for Harry Kane, but Tom Heaton not too troubled by it. he save it, though he does have to move at least this time. Spurs are putting the pressure on now, though.

49'

We're starting much as we finished the first half - Burnley are defending deeply and Spurs are waiting for their moment.

47'

There are no changes to either side as we get going in the second half.

46'

We're back underway at Turf Moor for the second half. A reminder we are still 0-0.

45'

It's the same old story for Spurs who are in the Burnley half, but completely crowded. They play around the Burnley defence but they can't quite do it and Mee clears the ball. The whistle blows shortly thereafter and we're still 0-0 at the break.

43'

There are some important peopple in the crowd today... England manager Gareth Southgate looks on, ahead of forthcoming European Championships qualifiers, and Franco Foda, head coach for the Austria national side, is also present.

39'

Spurs play patiently as Burnley put some real defensive pressure on there. The ball eventually finds it's way to Harry Kane ho heads the ball at the goal but to no avail.

36'

Harry WInks plays the ball forward but overshoots Harry Kane a little, abd the keeper is waiting for him as he runs at the goal.

34'

A good effort follows immediately for Burnley as Barnes strikes just in front of the goal. It's over the bar, however.

32'

Eriksen receives the ball just on the edge of the box and strikes a low ball at the keeper, who pounces on it promptly.

30'

Spurs are absolutely flooded by Burnley every time they make it into their half, they're going to have to do more to find a way round them.

28'

A challenge by Hendrick has Danny Rose enraged. And you can understand Rose's frustration, it certainly looks as if he's made little effort to go for the ball there, and really just the Spurs man.

23'

Danny Rose passes the ball forward to Son who has been finding some decent positions for himself so far today, but the keeper is able to subdue the threat with little trouble.

18'

Spurs are back on the right side of the pitch but they're up against pretty much every single Burnley player who join them, defending deeply. They struggle a little to hold shape, but it's enough to intercept the ball and close down any immediate threat.

16'

Harry Kane winds his way through the Burnley defence to shoot from around the edge of the area. He's just a little wide of the goal, but good to see some signs of life.

15'

37% of play has been in Spurs' half, so far today, compared to just 14% in Burnley's.

13'

Not sure what Lloris was hoping to achieve there but a bit of back and forth from a goal kick ends up in the ball being spooned somewhere well out of play. It's early days but Spurs are not shining thus far today.

10'

Burnley are really putting Spurs under pressure here. They've had a free kick, a corner, they're really creating chances for themselves and Spurs are just about containing them.

9'

Son is the next Spurs man to find the box, he passes to Danny Rose on the left wing, but the ball forward by Rose catches Burnley's defence.

8'

Harry Kane shows up nice and early as he has a shot in front of the box, but a good clean catch by the keeper.

5'

Free kick around the edge of Burnley's side of the centre third. Tarkowski recieves it to make a decent run, but he shall not pass. (That really is the last of the LOTR gags, today).

4'

Both sides have come out brightly. Burnley are putting the pressure on, but Taylor has come down now after a challenge by Aurier.

1'

And we're off!

12:30

And we're moments away from kick-off. Big match here today.

12:15

Ordinarily, we'd fancy the home side might have an advantage, but Spurs are putting in an excellent showing away, this season. In fact they are the most successful team away from home so far this season. Plus, you know, Harry Kane's back... (I won't do it again)

12:10

Worth pointing out that today's match is dedicated to Mental Health Awareness, which is an annual event at Turf More as part of Burnley's #MentalHealthMatters campaign. And we applaud that.

12:00

Different picture for Spurs at the top of the table, they're third currently and actually only five points shy of leaders Manchester City, with one less game played. Of course Liverpool stand between them and City but this could be a very interesting weekend indeed, with Liverpool due to play a bouyant fourth-place Manchester United tomorrow.

12:00

Burnley are, however, some way off being completely safe - they're in 15th place but there are only three points between them and the drop zone, as we look towards the end-of-season relegation dog-fight...

11:50

Burnley are enjoying something of a run at the moment, unbeaten in the league so far this year. We perhaps won't dwell on the FA Cup defeat at the hands of Man City...

11:45

And Burnley are unchanged.

11:40

That’s right, Harry Kane finally returns from injury and takes his rightful place in the starting XI. Danny Rose also starts, so Davinson Sanchez and Lucas Moura make way – that’s two changes to the Spurs side that beat Borussia Dortmund in this week’s Champions League match.

11:36

The big news in this lineup is of course the return of the Kane (sorry) for Spurs.
