FULL TIME! STOKE 6-1 LIVERPOOL. Quite extraordinary really. A dreadful way for Steven Gerrard to bow out, and a result that brings extra scrutiny onto Brendan Rodgers' future at the club. The Reds have been thoroughly embarrassed here, and a great result for Mark Hughes and Stoke.

Three minutes of added time. Humiliation for Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool today.
GOAL! Stoke 6-1 Liverpool. Peter Crouch piles on the misery for Brendan Rodgers. He's afforded a free header from Diouf's left wing cross and powers it home from six yards. More woeful defending from Liverpool.
Odemiwngie lets fly from 20 yards but it's straight down Mignolet's throat.
Arnautovic makes way and Peter Crouch comes on to face his old club.
Lallana is hustled off the ball inside the penalty rea by Pieters but the referee is unmoved.
Yellow card for a crunching tackle by Eric Pieters on Henderson.
Any thought of a Liverpool comeback slightly poo-pooed by the last five minutes or so with Stoke looking very comfortable again. Phil Coutinho smashes a shot over the bar.
GOAL! Stoke 5-1 Liverpool. Steven Gerrard has his goal, he's played through by a Rickie Lambert flick on (who's just come on for Allen) and he finishes calmly beyound Begovic.
Good move from Liverpool, Ibe runs down the left and lays it on for Gerrard whose shot from 25 yards flies just over the bar.
Peter Odemwingie makes his return, coming on for Jon Walters.
Pressure on the ball from Stoke and Liverpool are opened up, three against one. But Arnautovic skies his effort.
Another save for Begovic to make with Gerrard forcing him into a fine one handed stop low down to his left.
Martin Skrtel lucky to still be on the pitch after trying to take down N'Zonzi on the left hand touchline. Anthony Taylor gives him the benefit of the doubt. Lallana then has a close range strike saved by Begovic.
No change in the scoreline but Jordon Ibe has had a decent cameo since coming on at half time, full of running and effort down Stoke's left but they've come to nothing so far.
Stoke are just siting back, waiting for Liverpool to commit men forward and then break. They come close to doing just that but Arnautovic's pass is overhit.
Liverpool still can't get going despite those half time changes. Very much damage limitation this now.
Double change for Liverpool. Kolo Toure and Jordon Ibe enter the fray with Emre Can and Alberto Moreno making way. Looks like a back three for the second half.
HALF TIME: STOKE 5-0 LIVERPOOL. Wow. I have no idea where to start with that one. Stoke have been good, but Liverpool have been absolutely appalling. Dreadful defending, mediocre attacking. The end is nigh for Brendan Rodgers surely? Goals from Mame Diouf (2), Charlie Adam, Steven N'Zonzi and Jonathan Walters have put the Reds on the rack.
GOAL WOW WOW WOW! Stoke 5-0 Liverpool. Steven N'Zonzi has curled an absolute pearler into the top corner from 25 yards. This is incredible, astonishing.
GOAL! Stoke 4-0 Liverpool. Charlie Adam robs Lucas Leiva of possession on the edge of the Liverpool area and lets rip with a low left foot strike into the bottom left hand corner. All too easy for Stoke. This is remarkable.
Replays show Lallana was hard done by there. Not that a penalty would have done much to bring Liverpool back into things, they are so badly second best here.
Lallana is sent clear by Gerrard and appears to be tripped inside the box but referee waves play on. Liverpool have been left reeling here, Stoke in complete control.
Ole's around the Britannia as Stoke pass the ball around the back. Liverpool heading to half time three nil down in Steven Gerrard's final game...
GOAL! Stoke 3-0 Liverpool! Do not adjust your sets. This is shambolic from the away side. Charlie Adam's cross hangs onto the far post, Emre Can proceeds to head it back into the six yard box straight to Jon Walters, who nods the ball beyond Mignolet at the second attempt.
Raheem Sterling warming up with cries of "One Greedy Bastard" coming from the crowd. Rodgers might need him in the second half.
GOAL! Stoke 2-0 Liverpool. Well well well. Liverpool again opened up down their right hand side and Mame Diouf unleashes a venemous right footed shot from the edge of the penalty area, which rockets past Mignolet in the blink of an eye. Two goals in four minutes.
GOAL! Stoke 1-0 Liverpool. Emre Can is done on the left hand side by Arnautovic who supplies Adam, whose left foot shot is low to Mignolet's left, but the Belgian can only palm it straight to Mame Diouf who makes no mistake six yards out. That will go down as a goalkeeper error.
It's been an interesting opening 20 mins for Charlie Adam who's had two shots from distance, earned a yellow card and had to be calmed down by the ref for over exuberance. Won't be the last we hear of him this afternoon.
Chance! Lallana is fed by Coutinho and with his left foot from an acute angle just to the right of goal he opens his body up but can not find the far corner.
Another yellow! It's not been a dirty start to the game but the ref has been busy. Whelan in the book nw.
Lucas Leiva now gets his name into the book for a high challenge on Jon Walters.
That sums it up. Lovely diagonal from Gerrard to Coutinho who cuts into box before blazing wildly over when others were well placed.
Very even so far, very little going on. Both look comfortable, neither look like scoring.
Charlie Adam nastily follows through on Martin Skrtel and is duly awarded a yellow card.
Charlie Adam has had a dart at goal from 20 yards out but his effort, though well struck, flies over the bar.
Both sides are wearing their new strips for next season. It's become the "New Balance Derby".
Not much going on but Glenn Whelan has already clattered into Steven Gerrard. He won't miss Stoke.
And they're off...
Teams out on the pitch. Sneak peak of that new away kit can be found here...
Liverpool will be trotting out in their shiny new black away kit this afternoon. For a Liverpool away kit, it's quite nice.
With Stoke having secured successive top-half finishes in the top-flight for the first time in 40 years, it's cause for celebration at the Britannia. Mark Hughes soke in the week of the importance of keeping the returning Asmir Begovic beyond this summer: "Asmir is very much our player, which we are really pleased about. He is playing on Sunday and is somebody that we want to keep here, as I have said many times before. We will sit down with him, speak to him and his people and look for those talks to come to a positive conclusion."
Aside from the Sterling furore, Rodgers was asked about his own future at the club with speculation over an end-of-season meeting in Boston coming in the next week or so. The former Swansea boss declared himself "150% sure" that he'll remain at Anfield, but should Liverpool lose today and drop to seventh, it may not just be Steven Gerrard waving goodbye.
We all knew the Reds had been goal shy this season but still...
The big news from those team selections comes from the away end, with Raheem Sterling dropped to the bench after this week's contract acrimony. Mamadou Sakho returns after an injury lay off as to Lucas Leiva, while Steven Gerrard starts his final game for Liverpool.
