For the first time this season, Barcelona have failed to find the back of the net in a Liga game. Getafe fully deserved their point. They might not have created much themselves, but their defensive organisation was excellent. Barca just couldn't find a way to break them down.

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Barcelona 0-0 Getafe
ANOTHER BIG SAVE! Suarez gets on the end of a cross into the Getafe penalty area, powering a header towards the target. But Guaita manages to tip the effort over the bar.
Three minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the match.
- OffGaku ShibasakiGetafe CF

One more change for the away side. They're just minutes away from a point at the Camp Nou.
Suarez is caught offside again and this time the home fans inside the Camp Nou unload on the striker. He's been caught offside six or seven times this afternoon. Really careless.
The only problem for Getafe at this stage is that they have no outlet. They have no way to ease the pressure that is piling on top of them. They are simply sitting deep.
Guaita has been excellent for Getafe this afternoon. Of course, he has already signed a pre-contract agreement to join Crystal Palace at the end of the season. A shrewd move on this showing.
- OffAmath Ndiaye DiedhiouGetafe CF
- OnJorge MolinaGetafe CF
Getafe take their time over this change. They're trying to run down the clock.
Dembele is the subject of some frustration from the home fans inside the Camp Nou. It must be said that the Frenchman has looked out of his depth since coming on. Not great.
- OffSergio BusquetsFC Barcelona
- OnPaulinhoFC Barcelona
Barcelona make their final change, with Paulinho on for Busquets. Going all out.
MESSI FROM DISTANCE! Now the Barcelona number 10 takes aim from about 25 yards out, but Guaita makes the save and holds on to the ball. The goalkeeper has been excellent.
ACROSS THE FACE! Alba probably should have crossed for a teammate in the middle, but he takes on the shot himself and puts it right across the face of the Getafe goal.
This game is starting to fizzle out for Barcelona. Getafe are so organised at the back, it's almost as if the Catalans are running out of ideas. They have 10 minutes to find a winner.
- OffÁngelGetafe CF
- OnMathieu FlaminiGetafe CF
This is a bit of a surprise, but Flamini is on for Getafe.
SO CLOSE! Mina towers over everyone else in the box, getting on the end of a corner kick delivery, but his header bounces just inches wide of the far post. That wasn't far away at all.
Getafe are still looking good for the 0-0 scoreline at this moment in time. Barcelona have seen plenty of the ball, but that has yet to translate into actual goalscoring opportunities.
MINA HEADER! That was a chance for the new signing, getting on the end of a freekick delivery into the box, but he just couldn't get enough power on it and the save is made.
Getafe are going to bring on Flamini here. The former Arsenal midfielder hasn't played since leaving Crystal Palace at the end of last season. This will be interesting. Is he fit?
Iniesta has made a difference since coming on, but Dembele hasn't seen much of the ball. The young Frenchman is still to really find his role in this team since joining last summer.
This has been impressive from Getafe up until this point. They have done an excellent job of frustrating the hosts and that frustration is starting to get to the home supporters.
There are now just 20 minutes left for one of these two teams to find the breakthrough. Getafe are playing for the draw, I think it's fair to say. Barcelona are still piling the pressure on.
WHAT SKILL! That was exceptional from Iniesta, beating two men at the byline before crossing for Dembele at the back post. But Antunes was on hand to lash the danger clear.
Messi lines up the freekick from distance, but the Argentine gets his angles all wrong and the ball flashes well over the target. That was a disappointment, at least by his standards.
There's more of a natural balance to this Barcelona team now. Will this be the catalyst for the Catalans to find the breakthrough in the final 25 minutes of this match? They're pressing.
- Yellow cardVitorino AntunesGetafe CF
Antunes is shown a yellow card for... time wasting. Maybe slightly early for that kind of nonsense.
- OffPaco AlcácerFC Barcelona
- OnOusmane DembéléFC Barcelona
And as expected, the second change sees Dembele come on for the final 25 minutes.
- OffPhilippe CoutinhoFC Barcelona
- OnAndrés IniestaFC Barcelona
There's the first change from the Catalans and it's Coutinho who comes off for Iniesta.
TER STEGEN OFF HIS LINE! The Barcelona keeper comes a mile off his line, then backtracks. Portillo attempts to lob him from distance, but sends his shot over the crossbar. Yikes.
It also looks like Iniesta has been told to get ready to come on for Barcelona. The playmaker would bring some much-needed creativity to their play in the final third.
Barcelona are piling on the pressure now. Getafe are holding firm at the back, but they are starting to get a bit more desperate in some of their tackles and clearances.
COUTINHO DRAWS THE SAVE! The former Liverpool playmaker bends a shot towards goal from about 20 yards out, but Guaita makes the diving save down to his left. Good stop.
It looks like Dembele has been sent to go warm up by Valverde. That would be a logical change for Barcelona. Alcacer has done very little for the Catalans on the right side.
CLOSEST WE'VE COME! That was inches away from being the opener for Barcelona. Suarez reacted impulsively to get on the end of a pass through, but he toe pokes just wide.
Coutinho has had more involvement in the opening 10 minutes of the second half than he did over the course of the entire first half. The Brazilian is finally coming into the game.
That wasn't the worst ball into the box from Roberto, but it was a little too close to the goalkeeper and Guaita can make the relatively simple save. Better down the right side.
Barcelona are now looking to slow down the pace of the game in the middle of the pitch. That will suit them better, but is a comment on the way Getafe are testing them.
COUTINHO SHOT! That's the first time that the former Liverpool man has made any sort of impression in the final third of the pitch, but Guaita makes the save. Straight at him.
It's actually Getafe who have emerged for the start of the second half with some renewed energy. They are the ones looking to bring some more urgency to their play.
Getafe have a history of making things difficult for Barcelona in years gone by, and even earlier in the season, but they have never won at the Camp Nou. Can they break their duck?
So will we see a more energetic Barcelona team in this second half? They have been very quiet in the final third. Coutinho has hardly touched the ball so far. He's gone missing.

- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Barcelona 0-0 Getafe. The Catalans have failed to find the breakthrough, but they were improving as the half went on. For how much longer can Getafe hold out?
GOAL IS CHALKED OFF! That was a sensational finish from Suarez. The Barcelona striker gets on the end of a freekick and lashes home a finish on the volley. The flag was up, though.
- Yellow cardMauro ArambarriGetafe CF
The referee has decided that he needs to make an example of someone. That was for persistent fouling.
HANDBAGS ON THE TOUCHLINE! Suarez has hit the ground implying that he was elbowed. That has touched a nerve on the touchline, with the two sets of coaches clashing.
Alcacer is another who has struggled to get involved for Barcelona in this first half. The striker has been positioned out on the right side and that's a role that doesn't suit him at all.
GETAFE CHANCE! Mina is left one on one with Angel. The Colombian stands up and forces the Getafe man to take the shot from outside the box. It's deflected wide of the far post.
Getafe need to do more to test the centre back pairing of Digne and Mina. The latter has impressed so far, but the former is not a central defender. Can the visitors expose that?
Coutinho has been positioned on the left in this first half and not only has the Brazilian struggled to get into the game, but he has impacted on the freedom Alba is usually given.
Barcelona are beginning to pile on the pressure now. Gertafe's attacking play has been reduced to punts up the field to nobody in particular. The Catalans are well on top.
JUST OFFSIDE! Messi plays a wonderful pass in behind the Getafe defensive line, with Suarez getting on the end of it. The flag is raised, and replays show that it was the correct call.
Coutinho has hardly touched the ball in this first half. I can't recall mentioning the Brazilian's name so far. Valverde needs to find a way to get him involved in the play.
RIGHT OFF HIS TOE! Rakitic plays a clever little pass into Messi, with the Argentine taking the ball on his chest. But just as he's about to shoot, Damian makes the challenge.
Mina has been very impresive in the opening 30 minutes for Barcelona. The Colombian hasn't had much to do, but he looks a very able deputy for Pique. There are comparisons.
Barcelona are starting to dominate the midfield and that is having an effect on the general flow of the game. The Catalans are probing the Getafe defence, looking for a way through.
Getafe deserve some credit for the way they have defended in this first half. They are getting me behind the ball, plugging the gaps. Barcelona are struggling to play through them.
SHOT WIDE! Alba's shot is blocked by a Getafe defender, with the ball eventually falling to Suarez. The flag is up, but the striker puts his shot wide of the target. That was a scramble.
That was a poor pass. Amath was making a good run down the outside, with Getafe on the counter attack, but the weight on the ball was way too heavy. Amath is making good runs.
There's been a real lack of final product from Barcelona in the final third of the pitch. That is embodied by Alba, who has had every single cross and pass into the box cut out.
Valverde won't be too concerned yet, given that only 20 minutes of the match has been played, but he won't be too content with how few chances Barcelona have created so far.
Ter Stegen has to come off his line to make the clearance. There is some space in behind the Barcelona defence and so far Getafe have done what they can to exploit it.
NO PENALTY! Messi believes that he has been barged off the ball as he attempted to get on the end of a through ball, but the referee shakes his head. He might have had a case.
It's not clicking for Barcelona at the moment. Both Messi and Suarez have been quiet in the opening 15 minutes. I'm not even sure that I have seen Coutinho on the ball yet.
The positioning of both Busquets and Rakitic in this first half has been really interesting to observe. Sometimes it's the former dropping into defence, other times it's the latter.
GETAFE COUNTER! Busquets get caught out on trying to play the offside trap, but gets back to make the challenge to prevent Getafe on the counter. Ter Stegen makes the clearance.
Mina made his debut against Valencia during the week, but this is the first start the Colombian has been handed since signing for Barcelona in the January transfer window.
The hosts are starting to turn the screw now. There's more zip to their passes, ramping up the intensity and tempo of their play. They're camped on the edge of the opposition box.
Both teams are just feeling their way into the game at the moment. Barcelona have had the majority of the possession, as you would expect, but they haven't created very much.
It should be noted that Umtiti is suspended for this game. Along with the injury picked up by Pique against Valencia, that has given Valverde a problem in the centre back positions.
Barcelona made the final of the Copa del Rey for the fifth successive season during the week. Now, Valverd is resting some players ahead of the Champions League last 16 ties.
Valverde is rotating his squad from game to game at the moment. He has continued that for this match, with Alcacer handed a rare start. He will be playing up front alongside Messi and Suarez.
Pique suffered an injury against Valencia during the week, so there's a debut for Mina at centre back this afternoon. He is partnered by Digne. An unusual partnership for the Catalans.
THAT WAS CLOSE! Amath was played in behind the Barcelona backline, but the flag was raised. Replays show that was a very close call. He might even have been onside.
Great skill from Ter Stegen in the opening minute of the match. Getafe put some early pressure on the Barcelona goalkeeper, but he performed an excellent turn to get out of trouble.
