POSSESSION: Arsenal 39 per cent - City 61 per cent.
A wonderful run from Aguero sees him drive into the left of the area and dink a dangerous ball to the far post. It eventually drops to De Bruyne who flashes a venomous attempt into the side netting.
City give away another free kick. This time Xhaka comes up with a decent ball to the far post that the Citizens win in the air before Walker completes the clearance with a hooked volley.
Another poor delivery from the Gunners set piece means Mustafi can't get anywhere near it. Arsenal have won plenty of free kicks, but have yet to really put in a testing ball.

Free kick to Arsenal on the left as Fernandinho is the latest name to go in the book.
Super strength from Kompany who kept pace with Aubameyang as the forward broke clear before winning the physical battle to come away with the ball.

Sane attacks Bellerin and drifts to the byline before seeing his low, driven cross blocked behind by Chambers.
After a bright start, things are going a bit pear-shaped for Arsenal. Many felt they needed to take the lead to have a real chance here, but can they prove them all wrong and respond?

- GoalSergio AgüeroManchester City
GOAL! Aguero gives City the lead as he races through the middle and coolly lobs Ospina. It all came from Bravo's long kick that Mustafi completely misjudged.
The Citizens have been beaten in just one of their past five meetings with the Gunners in all comps. They have won two of those encounters, including a 3-1 success in the PL this season.
It's been an intriguing and enjoyable start to this final. We just need a goal now to really set it up as a spectacle.
It's end to end stuff as Monreal turns past a City defender and throws himself to the floor. No need for VAR then!
City with most of the ball, but it's Arsenal who have had the stand-out chance so far.

Good hands from Ospina after De Bruyne had twisted and turned and fired in a testing cross from the flank.

A massive 27 points separate the teams after 27 matches played in the league. The cup can often be another story and Gunners fans will be keen to see their side pick up this particular piece of silverware for the first time since 1993!
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! Arsenal get the 2018 League Cup final up and running.
The players are out, the anthem's been sung and we are just seconds away from showtime!
Just a coincidence....
Will it be a gr-eight day for Arsene? Wenger is bidding to join an elite group of seven other managers to have won all three top-flight trophies. It's a rather impressive list too: Jose Mourinho, Kenny Dalglish, Alex Ferguson, George Graham, Don Revie, Joe Mercer and Bill Nicholson.
It may be a first major final showdown between these two, but Arsenal have had the upper hand when it's come to Wembley meetings. The Gunners triumphed 3-0 to lift the 2014 Community Shield and also came out on top by a 2-1 scoreline (aet) in the FA Cup final semi final last term.
City make four changes from the shock FA Cup loss at Wigan. Unsurprisingly, De Bruyne is back along with Kompany, Walker and Otamendi. Claudio Bravo gets the nod in goal, having played in every round of this competition. Gabriel Jesus is on the bench and could be set for a first appearance of 2018 following injury. Raheem Sterling is out injured while Delph is suspended.
More from Wenger: "Manchester City have so many players that you think you have to stop that it is better to focus on the team plan than rather than on any individual."
Guardiola: "We'll be judged on how many titles we win. This is a club that every year needs to grow up and win titles. We have to lift titles to give more value to what we have done."
Pep Guardiola has been unhappy with several tackles on his Manchester City stars - but Wenger has countered by saying the Citizens don't deserve special treatment.
VAR is in place for today's game - will it play a significant role?
A day to remember for these youngsters.
There are seven changes for Arsenal following their surprise 2-1 loss at home to Ostersunds in the Europa League three days ago. Only Ospina, Bellerin, Chambers and Wilshere retain their starting berths with the likes of Ozil, Ramsey and Aubameyang all returning.
