World number 27 Errani won her last two clay titles, at Acapulco and Barcelona, and has now won 17 consecutive sets on the surface.
The second semi-final will be contested by Marina Erakovic and Elena Vesnina after the pair won matches against Barbora Zahlavova Strycova and Petra Martic respectively.
Fifth-seeded New Zealander Erakovic had a tough clash with Czech Zahlavova Strycova but won 6-2 1-6 6-4, while Russia’s Vesnina beat sixth-seeded Croat Martic 6-3 6-2.
