Pipe Pro still to get under way

A fourth consecutive lay day was called at the Volcom Pipe Pro as the wait to get the event in Hawaii under way continued.

The tournament website reported increasing swells and correcting trade winds and organisers remain hopeful of getting the event under way soon.

"Classic pipeline conditions are on the way," the website reported.

The event has a 13-day window, from January 23 to February 4.
