Warrington beat St Helens

Second-placed Warrington eased to a 22-12 victory over second-placed St Helens in their Super League clash at Langtree Park.

Brett Hodgson opened the scoring with a try on two minutes for the visitors, who added a second six minutes later to take charge of the match.

St Helens pulled one back before half-time, but two more tries in the second half by Warrington put them out of sight and a try five minutes from time by the home side was mere consolation.
