Torino snap up defender Rodriguez

Torino have signed defender Guillermo Rodriguez from Cesena on a free transfer.

The Uruguay centre-back had been training with the club and has signed a one-year deal with the option for a further two.

The 28-year-old had played in his homeland, Argentina, Mexico and France before arriving in Italy last season.

He has won 12 caps for Uruguay.

Promoted Torino have signed Mario Santana, Matteo Brighi and Jean-Francois Gillet this summer.
