Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has been banned for one match and fined 2,000 euros for diving during the 1-0 Serie A win at Palermo.

The Italy international, 25, was booked for simulation after diving in the penalty area.

The yellow card automatically invoked a one-match ban as it was his eighth of the season, with the 2000 euro fine added after he admitted his guilt.

In other FIGC disciplinary news, Fiorentina's Ruben Olivera was given a four-match ban after video evidence showed he deliberately stamped on Roma's Miralem Pjanic during La Viola's 4-2 defeat.

The Uruguayan had initially been booked, which would have triggered a one-match ban for accumulated yellows, with an extra three matches added for violent conduct.
