Gillet quits Bologna for Torino

The 33-year-old, nicknamed the ‘Cat of Liege’ has signed a three-year contract with the newly-promoted Serie A side.

The Belgian is reunited with Giampiero Ventura, who was Gillet’s coach for part of his 11-year spell at Bari which ended in 2011.

Since arriving in Italy at Monza in 1999, Gillet has made well in excess of 450 appearances in the Italian league.
