El Hamdaoui leaves Ajax for Fiorentina

The 27-year-old finally makes the move he was meant to complete in January, but that failed to go through after the relevant paperwork was not all filed before the winter transfer window deadline.

However, El Hamdaoui has now left Amsterdam for Florence after spending the whole of last season on the sidelines following a row with Ajax boss Frank de Boer.

In his one season playing for Ajax, the 2010/11 campaign, El Hamdaoui scored 13 goals in 26 Eredivisie appearances.
