ImagoAmauri, who left Fiorentina at the end of last season, has signed a two-year contract with the Gialloblu.
The 32-year-old spent six months on loan at Parma from Juventus in the 2010-11 season and scored seven goals in 11 Serie A games.
Last season his return was just one goal from 13 games but he hopes to rediscover his best form with Parma once again having failed to impress with Fiorentina and Juve.
“This is a return home for me,” said Amauri. “I’m really happy.
“This transfer took just 10 minutes and no more. I was very happy here and I want to start again from where I left off.”
