Pedro Leon and Royston Drenthe have been left out of Real Madrid's American tour increasing specualtion they will leave the club.

The whole first-team squad head off for Los Angeles next Tuesday but manager Jose Mourinho has already informed the Spaniard and the Dutchman that they won't be involved.

Leon only arrived at the Bernabeu last July but has been deemed surplus to requirements by Mourinho, especially since the arrivals of Nuri Sahin and Hamit Altintop.

Drenthe joined los Meringues back in 2007 but has failed to make an impact and spent last season on loan at Hercules.

Interest will be rife in the pair, especially in Leon who was subject to an enquiry from Chelsea in January.

Fellow midfielders Sergio Canales and Fernando Gago have also been left out, but they are away on international duty with Spain and Argentina respectively.
