Very poor from United, in truth, as they mustered just two shots on target against the unfancied Ukrainians all night. Zlatan Ibrahimovic's winner wasn't pretty either, but Jose Mourinho won't mind, as United get on the board in the Europa League. Fenerbahce's win over Feyenoord sees them sit top of Group A, but United are now hot on their heels ahead of the meeting between the two sides next up. Thanks for joining us. Full report and reaction to follow on site. Goodbye.

They all count, especially in this situation, but United's goal certainly had an element of fortune to it. Fosu-Mensah drilled a cutback at Rooney, who had dropped back into a good position, but the skipper couldn't adjust himself quickly enough, the ball just bounced off him, into the gorund, looped up into the air, and Ibrahimovic climbed highest to head into the net from close range.

SAVE! First shot on target all game, and it is for the visitors! Paulinho curls one at goal, but Romero gets two hands to it and beats the ball away.

WOODWORK! Thunderous effort from Rashford comes down of the underside of the crossbar, bounces on the line and out. Corner from Mata had landed at the youngster's feet on the edge of the box, and my word did he wallop that! So unlucky.

CLOSE! Better from United as they work the ball well to Ibrahimovic. The Swede has an age to line the shot up, but it is deflected over. Oleksiy Shevchenko was scrambling across his goal to get to that as it looped over.

CHANCE! And it is for the visitors. Neat play down the left plays in Ivan Petryak, who pulls it back to the onrushing Zeljko Ljubenovic, but he gets underneath it and fires well over. Food for thought for United.

We are under way here at Old Trafford. Ground isn't anywhere near full, which is a rare sight in these parts. This is the biggest match in Zorya's history. Can they pull off an almighty shock? Our referee tonight is Orel Grinfeld from Israel.

WIDE! First real opportunity for the hosts, Nwakaeme plays it across the box and it falls to Melikson, who strikes just wide. Always curling away but a decent chance for Be'er Sheva.

Nwakaeme causes problems down the left and gets a cross away, it's with Bitton beyond the back post but the Saints clear the danger.

GOOD SAVE! Ward-Prowse with the ball 25 yards out, he opts to shoot and it's a decent save from Goresh in the Be'er Sheva goal as he pushes it away from danger.

The ref plays a clever advantage and it's with Long, but his poor touch on the edge of the area loses it... Hapoel are FURIOUS as Targett is on the ground but the Saints choose to play on and eventually get a shot away. Why the hosts are annoyed when a Saints player is down I'm not so sure...

Replays show the Be'er Sheva players practically stopped playing, but didn't clear the ball, and the Saints chose to steal the ball off them with Redmond getting a shot away (which went well wide). He and Ogu protest after the whistle. A wee flashpoint brought that game to life! More of the same after the break please.

Ward-Prose and Targett over it... WHAT A CHANCE! It's whipped in by Ward-Prowse and Van Dijk is barely four yards out, totally free, and he heads over! He completely mistimed his effort and that was a glorious opportunity for the visitors.
