France's Tony Hurel won the 33rd edition of the Polynormande to record his first professional win.

The Europcar man proved strongest in a sprint finish after the 157km course, now recognised as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour.

Samuel Dumoulin of Cofidis was second in the race, which is also part of the French Road Cycling Cup, and accordingly takes the lead in the series.

Belgian Davy Commeyne (Landbowkrediet Euphony) finished third.
