England women romp past India
England's women saiuntered to an eight-wicket victory over India in their second Twenty20 match at Chelmsford.
Sarah Taylor was the star of the show for England, hitting an unbeaten 67 from just 48 balls to lead England home with 17 balls to spare and seal the series.
India had won the toss and chosen to bat, but their total of 114 all out always looked underweight.
Katherine Brunt did the early damage, taking three wickets in all from four economical overs.
India's top scorer, Harmanpreet Kaur, could only manage 34, and the innings failed to gain any real momentum.
There was a hint of hope for the visitors as they removed Charlotte Edwards (15) and Laura Marsh (5) early on, but Taylor took control of the chase in partnership with Lydia Greenway (30 not out) to see England to victory.
