Black risked a one-match suspension had he challenged the charge at the tribunal.

By submitting an early guilty plea, Black received a reprimand and 93.75 carry-over points.

All eight players involved in the melee during Sunday's clash between Melbourne and Greater Western Sydney pleaded guilty and were fined.

Demon Nathan Jones was slugged $3000 for starting the melee during the third quarter.

Melbourne trio Daniel Nicholson, Mark Jamar and Brent Moloney and Giants Tomas Bugg, Taylor Adams, Toby Greene and Dylan Shield were all docked $1200.

The tribunal was not required to sit on Tuesday night.
